Caesar (AD 316-326)Bastard son of Constantine and an early concubine known as Minervina. He was elevated to Caesar by his father in AD 316 and during the civil war proved to be an able naval commander. In 326, however, his father suddenly ordered his arrest and execution, which was shortly followed by that of his step mother Fausta, in circumstances that were never fully understood
