Augustus (AD 276)Was the maternal half brother of the emperor Tacitus (275-6). He suceeded his brother immediately after his death in 176, but his claim was soon disputed by Probus. After two months in offices their armiies met, but Florian's own troops murdered him and surrendered to Probus, even though Probus had fewer troops
