Julia Maesa

Augusta (218AD-225AD)

Julia Maesa was the sister of Julia Domna the wife of Septimius Severus. She arranged the rebellion that made her grandson Elagabalus emperor. She survived his fall and died early in the reign of her other grandson Severus Alexander.
