Herennia Estruscilla

Augusta (249AD-253AD)

Herennia Estruscilla came from old Estruscan family and was the Wife of Trajan Decius and the mother of Herennius Etruscus and Hostilian. After the death of Trajan Decius, she stayed on as Augusta under her son-in-law Trebonianus Gallus. She may have died in the plague of 252 that also claimed her son Hostilian.
